Brendan A. Vega
Brendan is a Financial Advisor Intern at Foundations Financial Partners, LLC. He is a rising senior at the University of Pittsburgh, where he is pursuing a degree in Finance. In addition to his studies, Brendan is working toward obtaining his real estate license through Polley Associates, further expanding his knowledge of personal finance, investing, and wealth-building strategies.
Prior to joining Foundations Financial Partners, Brendan worked as a lifeguard in both the Northeast Philadelphia and Pittsburgh regions and provided private swim lessons to individuals of all ages. These experiences strengthened his leadership, communication, and service-oriented mindset while reinforcing his passion for helping others.
"Helping people is almost second nature to me, whether it's in the pool or serving my community. A career in financial advising would allow me to continue making a positive impact by helping individuals and families work toward their long-term goals. When thinking about my future, nothing seems more rewarding than building meaningful relationships and helping clients achieve what matters most to them."
A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Brendan enjoys skiing, staying active in the gym, and spending quality time with family and friends. Beyond his academic and professional pursuits, Brendan is deeply committed to serving his community. During high school, he participated in a Habitat for Humanity service trip to West Virginia, where he worked alongside fellow students to help build homes for families in need, improve community spaces, and assist local residents with landscaping projects. Brendan also volunteered with a Homeless Outreach program in Philadelphia, helping prepare and distribute meals to individuals experiencing homelessness throughout the city. Beyond providing food, he valued the opportunity to connect personally with those he served through conversation, encouragement, and prayer. These experiences helped shape his belief in the importance of compassion, service, and building meaningful relationships, values that continue to guide him both personally and professionally.
